Profile and Security Settings

Keep your account secure and your profile up to date. Learn how to manage personal settings and security features.

Profile Settings

Accessing Profile

  1. Click your avatar (top right)
  2. Select Profile
  3. Or go to Settings > Profile

Personal Information

Update your details:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Profile Photo

Change your avatar:

  1. Click on current photo
  2. Upload new image
  3. Crop if needed
  4. Save

Time Zone

Set your local time:

  1. Find timezone setting
  2. Select your zone
  3. Affects all scheduling

Security Settings

Accessing Security

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. View security options

Change Password

Update your password:

  1. Click Change Password
  2. Enter current password
  3. Enter new password
  4. Confirm new password
  5. Save

Password Requirements

Strong passwords include:

  • At least 8 characters
  • Uppercase and lowercase
  • Numbers
  • Special characters

Two-Factor Authentication

What is 2FA?

Extra security layer:

  • Password + verification code
  • Code from authenticator app
  • Much harder to hack

Enable 2FA

  1. Go to Security settings
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Scan QR code with app
  4. Enter verification code
  5. Save backup codes

Authenticator Apps

Recommended apps:

  • Google Authenticator
  • Authy
  • 1Password
  • Microsoft Authenticator

Backup Codes

Save these securely:

  • One-time use codes
  • For when phone unavailable
  • Store in safe place

Disable 2FA

If needed:

  1. Go to Security
  2. Click Disable 2FA
  3. Enter password
  4. Confirm

Session Management

Active Sessions

See where you're logged in:

  1. Go to Security
  2. View Active Sessions
  3. See device and location

Log Out Other Sessions

For security:

  1. Click Log Out All
  2. All other sessions end
  3. You stay logged in here

Suspicious Activity

If you see unknown sessions:

  1. Log out all sessions
  2. Change password
  3. Enable 2FA
  4. Contact support

Email Security

Email Notifications

Get alerted for:

  • New login from unknown device
  • Password changes
  • Security setting changes

Verify Email

Ensure email is verified:

  1. Check verification status
  2. If unverified, click resend
  3. Check inbox and verify

Account Recovery

Recovery Options

Set up recovery:

  • Verified email
  • Phone number
  • Backup codes (with 2FA)

Forgot Password

If locked out:

  1. Click Forgot Password
  2. Enter email address
  3. Check inbox for link
  4. Reset password

Privacy Settings
