Exporting Your Designs

Once your design is complete, export it in the right format for your needs. Learn about different export options and best practices.

Accessing Export

  1. Click Export in top toolbar
  2. Or use Ctrl/Cmd + E
  3. Export dialog opens

Export Formats

PNG (Recommended)

Best for:

  • Social media posts
  • Web graphics
  • Images with transparency

Features:

  • Lossless quality
  • Supports transparency
  • Larger file size

JPG/JPEG

Best for:

  • Photos
  • Email attachments
  • Smaller file sizes

Features:

  • Compressed
  • No transparency
  • Smaller files

PDF

Best for:

  • Print materials
  • Documents
  • Professional sharing

Features:

  • Vector quality
  • Print-ready
  • Multiple pages

Export Settings

Quality

Choose quality level:

  • Standard - Good for web (72 DPI)
  • High - Better quality (150 DPI)
  • Maximum - Print quality (300 DPI)

Scale

Export at different sizes:

  • 1x - Original size
  • 2x - Double size (retina)
  • 3x - Triple size (high DPI)

Transparency

For PNG exports:

  • Enable for transparent backgrounds
  • Disable for solid backgrounds

Quick Export

One-Click Export

  1. Click Quick Export
  2. Uses your last settings
  3. Downloads immediately

Default Settings

Set your preferred defaults:

  1. Go to export settings
  2. Configure preferences
  3. Click Save as Default

  1. Select pages to export
  2. Choose format
  3. Export as ZIP file

Sharing Without Download

Share Link

  1. Click Share instead of Export
  2. Copy share link
  3. Recipients view online

Direct to Social

  1. Click Share to Social
  2. Select pages
  3. Add caption
  4. Publish directly

Export Tips

For Web

  • Use PNG for graphics with text
  • Use JPG for photos
  • Keep file size under 1MB

For Print

  • Export as PDF
  • Use Maximum quality
  • Include bleed if needed

For Email

  • Compress images
  • Use JPG for smaller size
  • Test on different clients

Troubleshooting

File Too Large

  • Reduce quality setting
  • Use JPG instead of PNG
  • Resize canvas

Blurry Export

  • Increase quality setting
  • Export at 2x scale
  • Check original image quality

Colors Look Different

  • Check color mode (RGB vs CMYK)
  • Calibrate monitor
  • Export for intended use
