Bloop Studio Cloud Models: Render Without a Strong GPU by Signing In
How to use bloop's cloud models inside the free Bloop Studio app: who needs them, what the account adds, how free and paid plans differ, and how to mix cloud with your own GPU.
If your graphics card is not strong enough for Bloop Studio's offline engine, sign in with your bloop account. The free Windows app then works cloud only: every card can use bloop's models and no local engine is needed, so any Windows 10 or 11 PC will do. A free plan gets the lower-cost models, and Lite and above get every model. Signing in takes one Allow press in your browser, and the app never sees your password. You can also mix cloud and your own GPU on one board. Download the app at /bloop-studio.
Bloop Studio is free, and it can render on your own graphics card. If yours is too small, or you simply want a stronger model for one shot, you can sign in with a bloop account and render on bloop's cloud models.
Download Bloop Studio, then follow the steps below.
The short answer
- Install the free app for Windows.
- Choose to sign in with bloop. Your browser opens a bloop page.
- Press Allow. The app is signed in.
- Pick a cloud model on any card and press Generate.
The account is optional. It only adds the cloud models.
Who it is for
- You have no NVIDIA card, or one smaller than 8 GB. The offline engine needs an NVIDIA card with 8 GB or more for pictures, and 12 GB or more for video with sound.
- You want a cloud model for the one shot that matters.
- You want the board, but not the 40 GB offline install.
How signing in works
You never type your password into Bloop Studio. The app opens your browser on a bloop page, and you do the sign-in there.
- Bloop Studio opens a bloop page in your browser. If you are not logged in, you log in first, with any way you already use on bloop: Google, TikTok, Facebook or email.
- The page shows your name and email and says Bloop Studio is asking to use your account. It lists what that allows: seeing your name, plan and credit balance; rendering on bloop models with your credits; and saving those renders on a "Bloop Studio" board in Spaces.
- Press Allow, or Cancel to refuse. On Allow, the browser hands a one-time code back to the app on your own computer, and the app signs you in. The code is good for only 2 minutes.
- The app stays signed in for 90 days, then asks again. You can sign out any time.
Because the renders land on a board named Bloop Studio in your own workspace, you can see them on the web in Spaces too.
What changes when you sign in
- Cloud only works. The app works cloud only: cards use bloop's models and no local engine is needed.
- Any PC will do. Any Windows 10 or 11 PC, with no graphics card needed.
- Models on every card. Cloud models join every card's list of models.
- Free credits when you sign up. A new account starts with free credits, so you can try the lower-cost models.
Which models you get
The cloud list is the same curated set that the Bloop chat offers, for images and video. Bloop manages it, so it changes over time. For voices, sound effects and music, see the audio section below.
- Free plan: you see the lower-cost models, the ones you can try on your free credits. A model outside your list is refused.
- Lite and above: you see every model.
Credits and plans work the same as on the web, and we do not list amounts here. Check /pricing for the current plans.
Some models are never offered in the app, because they need a video clip as input (video edit, extend, motion control) and a desktop card can only send words and pictures.
Audio on the cloud
Audio cards can use bloop's cloud models for:
- Voices (text to speech): ElevenLabs, MiniMax and Qwen3 TTS.
- Sound effects.
- Music: Suno.
Free plans see the lower-cost ones here too. Models that take a recording instead of words (speech-to-text) and multi-speaker dialogue are not offered on a desktop card.
Mix cloud and your own GPU
You do not have to pick one. Each card chooses its own model. A sensible way to work:
- Draft the board on your own GPU. Those renders are free.
- Look at the takes and choose the shot that matters most.
- Send that shot to a cloud model.
You only pay for the cloud renders. If you have no local engine installed, every card uses the cloud.
What stays private
Renders on your own GPU never leave your PC. Only the cards you send to a cloud model are rendered on bloop's side.
Learn it hands-on
We run live weekend workshops where you can build a board with us. See /events.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a strong graphics card to use Bloop Studio?
Not if you sign in. With a bloop account the app works cloud only, so any Windows 10 or 11 PC will do. A graphics card is only needed to render offline on your own GPU.
Is the bloop account required?
No. The app is free and renders on your own GPU with no account. The account only adds bloop's cloud models, and you can sign out any time.
Which cloud models do I get?
Bloop's cloud models appear on every card. A free plan gets the lower-cost models, and Lite and above get every model. Voices come from ElevenLabs, MiniMax and Qwen3 TTS, and music from Suno. For plans and credits, see /pricing.
Do I type my password into Bloop Studio?
No. The app opens a bloop page in your browser, you log in there with Google, TikTok, Facebook or email, and press Allow. The app never sees your password. You stay signed in for 90 days and can sign out any time.
Can I mix cloud and my own GPU?
Yes. Each card picks its own model, so you can draft free on your GPU and send the hero shot to a cloud model. You pay only for the cloud renders.
Do cloud renders cost credits?
Yes. Cloud models use bloop credits, the same credits and plans as on the web. Renders on your own graphics card are free.
