Connecting Your Facebook Page

Connect your Facebook business page to unlock social media management, automated responses, and analytics features.

Prerequisites

Before connecting, ensure you have:

A Facebook Business Page (not personal profile)
Admin access to the page
A Facebook account linked to the page

Step-by-Step Connection

Step 1: Navigate to Social Pages

Click Social Pages in the sidebar
Click Connect New Page

Step 2: Authenticate with Facebook

Click Connect with Facebook
Log in to your Facebook account (if not already)
Review the permissions requested
Click Continue

Step 3: Select Your Page

After authentication:

You'll see a list of pages you manage
Check the box next to pages you want to connect
Click Connect Selected Pages

Step 4: Configure Page Settings

For each connected page, configure:

Auto-responder - Enable automatic message replies
Posting permissions - Allow scheduled posts
Analytics - Enable insights tracking

MarketDragon requests these permissions:

pages_show_list	View your pages
pages_read_engagement	Access page insights
pages_manage_posts	Create and schedule posts
pages_messaging	Handle Messenger conversations

Managing Connected Pages

View Page Details

Click on a connected page to see:

Page insights and metrics
Recent posts
Message statistics
Audience demographics

Disconnect a Page

To remove a page:

Go to the page settings
Click Disconnect Page
Confirm the action

Note: Disconnecting removes MarketDragon's access but doesn't delete any content from Facebook.

Troubleshooting

Page Not Showing

If your page doesn't appear:

Ensure you have Admin role on the page
Check that it's a Business Page, not a Profile
Try re-authenticating with Facebook

Connection Failed

If connection fails:

Clear browser cookies
Log out of Facebook
Try connecting again
Contact support if issues persist
