Creating a Sequence

Access Sequences

  1. Go to Messenger > Nurture Sequences
  2. Click Create Sequence

Basic Setup

Configure foundation:

  • Name - Descriptive title
  • Goal - What you want to achieve
  • Trigger - What starts the sequence

Sequence Triggers

Entry Triggers

What enrolls someone:

  • New Lead - Lead created
  • Conversation Started - First message
  • Tag Added - Specific tag applied
  • Manual Enrollment - You add them

Add filters:

Building the Sequence

Add Steps

Each step is an action:

  1. Click Add Step
  2. Choose step type
  3. Configure the step

Message Steps

Create Messages

For each message step:

  1. Write message content
  2. Add personalization

Activate Sequence

  1. Review all steps
  2. Click Activate
  3. Sequence starts enrolling

Edit Active Sequences

Make changes carefully:

  • New enrollees get updated version
  • Existing enrollees continue current path
  • Or restart all enrollees

Enrolling Leads

Automatic Enrollment

Manual Enrollment

  1. Go to lead profile
  2. Click Enroll in Sequence
  3. Select sequence
  4. Confirm enrollment

Remove from Sequence

  1. Find enrolled lead
  2. Click Remove from Sequence
  3. They stop receiving messages
